As a new charitable leisure trust, Vision provides leisure services on behalf of the London Borough of Redbridge at the following facilities: Ilford Leisure Centre, Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre, Cricklefields Athletic Ground and Ashton Playing Fields.

Latest News: Transfer of facilities The London Borough of Redbridge recently approved the transfer of additional facilities to Vision following a successful first year of trading by the company. The new Redbridge Cycling Centre and the golf courses at Fairlop Waters will become part of Vision’s portfolio of facilities during 2008 as soon as the necessary legal, financial and contractual agreements are completed and approved by Redbridge and the Board of Trustees. There are further plans to transfer the management and operation of Wanstead Leisure Centre to Vision in April 2009.

Ilford Pools closure

The London Borough of Redbridge has recently announced that the 1930’s facility is likely to close in December 2008 because it is reaching the stage where it is beyond economic repair. Vision managers are working closely with Redbridge to provide options for relocating as much of the swimming programme as possible in 2009.
