FAIRLOP WATERS

Fairlop Waters is the largest Country Park and Leisure facility, located in the London Borough of Redbridge. It is easily accessible from the M25, via the A12, also from the city of London, via the A11 and A12. It is also conveniently positioned for ease of transport via the Central Line to Fairlop station, which is only a short walk to the complex.Fairlop Waters has a wide spectrum of facilities which cater for diverse and varied customer use.

Outdoor facilities we provide include a 9 hole golf course, 18 hole golf course, floodlit driving range, windsurfing & sailing lake and angling. Also on offer are a large function hall / meeting room for hire, bar and seating area and a small function room for hire.

Fairlop indoor play centre logo and name competition
 
Calling all budding artists for the Fairlop indoor play centre logo and name competition.

The new indoor play centre coming to Fairlop Waters Country Park this Autumn would love a name and a logo. 

Vision RCL who will manage the new play centre are running a competition for children in the Borough in school years 6 and below to enter designs and a name suggestion for the new indoor play area. 
The name should take into consideration one of the following areas: 
• History and heritage of Fairlop Waters 
• Ecology and wildlife at Fairlop Waters 
• Facilities and activities at Fairlop Waters 
Please send your drawing of a mascot or logo along with your suggested name for the play area to: 
FAIRLOP PLAY COMPETITION, Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre, High Street, Barkingside IG6 2EA. 

Make sure you put your name, age and address on the back of your entry.

Golf

The golf complex has two Pay and Play courses. The 18-hole course is 6281 yards long and has a Par of 72.The 9-hole course is 1167 yards long and has a Par of 27.

There is also a 22 Bay, flood lit covered Driving Range which is available until 9pm.Both courses are professionally maintained and have reached an attractive level of maturity. 
Lakeside Suite

Capable of holding 120 seated or 150 standing and available until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Lakeside Suite is perfect for any event including birthdays, christenings, weddings and anniversaries. With bar facilities and tables and chairs provided, the friendly staff will make sure the big event goes off without a hitch.

The hall is also great for children's parties on Saturday and Sunday afternoons where almost any activity is welcome. The hall is hired out on weekday evenings by different organisations but there are still some available slots for regular or casual use.

Bar & Restaurant

The Bar is situated in the main building of the complex and provides a wide variety of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Tea and Coffee at competitive prices. Bar Snacks are available

The Fiskardo is situated inside Fairlop Waters main complex and offers pleasant views over the lake. This is a tranquil and pleasant setting in which to enjoy both traditional Greek and authentic Greek cuisine.There are also 2 function rooms available to seat from 20 to 120 people. Don't forget to book early for your private events.
Windsurfing & Sailing Lake

Fairlop sailing lake offers attractive surroundings to participate in activities or just relax and watch the fun. The thirty-eight acre sailing lake with two large islands offers opportunities for a variety of activities including windsurfing and sailing. There are changing and showering facilities on site and clubhouse facilities for members.

The atmosphere is friendly and club members are always willing to offer advice and assistance to the beginner. Sailing and canoeing are also available, with tuition in all aspects of water use available on site through Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre Centre who also offer a variety of outdoor pursuits with equipment hire and safety tuition.

Angling

Fairlop Waters offers the angler a choice of two waters. A three and a half acre specimen lake with a large head of Carp over twenty pounds and several over thirty pounds. This lake also offers Tench and Bream up to ten pounds. Spacious, comfortable swims allow the angler to fish lengthy sessions in pursuit of quality fish.A disabled angling platform is in place with wheelchair access.

The sailing lake, which covers an area of 38 acres, is also available for night fishing. This lake has a large head of Carp of varying size with some specimens up to 30lbs. The sailing lake also offers other species such as Roach, Bream and Perch, as well as superb Pike fishing with specimens up to forty pounds.Season tickets are available which cover both lakes and parking is available on site. Toilets and refreshments are available from the licensed bar adjacent to the sailing lake.
