WHEELCHAIR ACCESS BOAT


The centre has a range of craft for customers with special needs including:

Our ex Surrey Docks launch ‘The Black Pearl’ used by school groups,

The Pioner Powerboat (kindly funded by the Children’s Trust via the Aiming High initiative) with wheelchair access and wheelchair steering position (see photo)

Two Access 2.3 single handed sailing boat (main sail only) and a single or two hander Access 303 (jib and main).

The centre staff will assist all customers to get time on the lake at any open session, however, there are also partly funded sessions every Friday during school holidays 11am – 12pm and 2pm -3pm at £5 per session per person with an experienced Instructor to hand.
