Transfer of Wanstead Leisure Centre July 2009
Wanstead Leisure Centre was successfully transferred to Vision in July 2009. The Sports Hall at Wanstead is currently being refurbished and the works will be completed by October 2009.

Fullwell Cross Refurbishment
Phase 2 of the refurbishment of Fullwell Cross was completed in July 2009 and the centre was re-launched at the successful Open Day on the 18th July 2009. The refurbishment included a new spa facility with sauna, steam and aroma rooms; a spa bath, experience showers and therapy rooms, plus a lift to the first floor and a new reception area at Fullwell Cross.

The new Fullwell Cross Gym
Vision RC&L working in partnership with Alliance Leisure Ltd and Cosmur Construction Ltd, invested in a new ‘state of the art’ 42 station gym which was built on two floors in the old café area at Fullwell Cross. This fantastic new facility opened to customers on the 22nd June 2009.

June User Group Meetings
During June 2009 user group meetings were held at a range of Vision facilities and customers can view the minutes from these meetings on the centre notice boards. The meetings were very positive and provided Vision with some excellent suggestions and feedback about areas where we can improve the service to our customers.

Transfer of Facilities November 2008
The London Borough of Redbridge approved the transfer of additional facilities to Vision following a successful first year of trading by the company. The new Redbridge Cycling Centre and a range of facilities at Fairlop Waters became part of Vision's portfolio in November 2008.

Vision facilities achieve quality accreditation
The original facilities managed by Vision were awarded QUEST following a rigorous external accreditation process in September 2007. QUEST is the recognised quality standard for leisure facilities and the assessment of each centre provided Vision with an excellent tool for continuous improvement. QUEST re:assessments are scheduled for the Autumn of 2009.
