| Fitness Classes now being held on weekday evenings and weekend mornings - click HERE for further information. Security Bike Marking at Redbridge Cycling Centre will be taking place on the 10th of January 2009. Come and have your new Christmas bikes (and old ones!) security marked by the Police Safer Neighbourhood Team. Marking will take place between 10:00 and 15:00 and will be done with UV pens as to cause no damage to those nice shiny bikes. The team will also be handing out useful bike security and crime prevention advice. Centre Information
Redbridge is the first London Borough to benefit from the 2012 Olympic legacy. A brand new £4.5 million state of the art cycling centre has been built by the London Development Agency.

Road Circuit and Mountain Bike Tracks
- The road circuit which has been designed and built specifically for bike racing, training and casual use away from the problems of traffic on public roads.
- Seven different combinations of circuit with the longest being 2.0 kilometers in length and can be raced in either direction. Track layouts and designs can be found here. Availability can be checked here.
- A purpose built mountain bike track which can sustain all weather conditions all year round and is suitable for racing and for recreational use. The mountain bike track will total around 3.25 kilometres long and has a large descent section as well as berms, jumps and a 'pump track' suitable for BMXs.
- Tracks can be hired in part by clubs, schools and associations for training sessions and racing. Check availability here.
- Reduced rate for cycling clubs that operate the junior Go-Ride scheme and that are Clubmark accredited.
- The tracks are suitable and available for hire for other sports such as rollerblading, slalom skateboarding and duathlons.
- Redbridge Cycling Centre has a comprehensive stock of road, mountain and BMX bikes for hire. When hiring a bike, a helmet is included in the price as well as the use of the circuit.

Additional features:
- Within the facility there are male and female toilets, six changing rooms, lockers and showers.
- Disabled parking and disabled toilets, showers and changing facilities.
- Cafe area (open weekends and during events) and reception area where refreshments can be purchased.
- Three public rooms available for hire: a Meeting Room (max capacity 16), Fitness Room, and Clubroom (seated capacity 60). The Fitness Room comes with sprung flooring and the fantastic Clubroom showcases the marvellous view from the Thames Gateway all the way to the City of London. All public rooms are available for hire by the local community or for corporate events.
- The facility encompasses environmentally friendly features such as solar water heating, sun pipes and rain water harvesting for toilet flushing within a modern and smart design.
- The centre has a free gravel car park that is designed to prevent excessive rain water run-off associated with tarmac.
- There is bike parking outside the Centre enabling cycles to be locked securely and the patio area around the buildings provides a great view of the cycle circuit and extensive views of London.
