REDBRIDGE CYCLING CENTRE


Welcome to the homepage of Redbridge Cycling Centre. The centre is the most exciting leisure facility for cyclists in London and the south east of England. It has purpose built road & off road tracks to give you a great cycling experience in a car free environment. So whether you are looking for a great day out for the whole family, big air on your BMX or an area for training then Redbridge Cycling Centre is the place for you. We also welcome runners, skaters, nordic skiers and skateboarders for circuit bookings and casual use. The Centre holds a number of fitness classes and there are three rooms that are available for hire. The Centre has a number of adapted bikes for disabled users which can be hired. Redbridge Cycling Centre has qualified British Cycling coaches on site and offers school holiday courses, coaching for schools and can teach customers how to ride. Upcoming bookings and events 
Saturday the  4th September - The full road circuit is booked from 10:00 - 12:00 for the Lea Valley Youth Club..
Sunday the 5th September- The south/lower road circuit is booked from 13:00 - 17:00. 

Novice Riding Skills - Weekend September sessions
Due to popular demand we will be running 2 more sessions of this course on Sunday the 19th of September & Saturday the 9th of October. The coaching concentrates on improving novice riding skills and techniques such as braking, balance and co-ordination and cornering. The sessions are £10.00 per person and bikes are available for hire, please note that this course is not suitable for learner riders. Booking is essential and can be made with this form.

Free Road and Time Trial Coaching Session at Redbridge Cycling Centre
British Cycling coaching and education periodically require riders to participate in free coaching sessions as part of their Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Road and Time Trial.

British Cycling require riders at Redbridge Cycling Centre, Forest Road, Hainault, Essex, IG63HP. Those who attend should have a good technical ability and bike handling skills and recent road racing experience. The minimum age for riders is 15 years old (riders under 18 years old will need a parental consent form). The sessions will involve activities to develop tactical performance and group riding.
The sessions are free (although places are limited) and generally run from 9am till 1pm. British Cycling provide lunch and refreshments for the riders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other riders and new developing coaches. You may also pick up some advice on how to improve your performance!

Learn to ride a bike at Redbridge Cycling Centre
You are never to old to learn how to cycle and once you have learnt you will never forget! We offer one to one learn to ride coaching at the Centre throughout the week. Most people are able to learn within 1 hour and we will supply bikes and helmets for the lesson.
