EVENT CALENDAR & TRACK BOOKINGS

Use of the Centre during the Olympics and Paralympics - July to September 2012
Redbridge Cycling Centre is pleased to announce that it will be used as a games time training venue for cycling during the London 2012 Olympics. The Centre however will not be closed exclusively from July through to September. The Centre will only be closed daytimes until approximately 15:00 from the 13th of July through to the 15th of August (for the Olympics), and until approximately 13:00 from the 20th of August to the 10th September (for the Paralympics).

Outside of these times, the Centre will be open to the public and will be remaining open later than usual to help offset the later opening times. While there will be limited facilities available within the building (e.g. no clubroom), all the tracks will be open allowing casual use, races and events to go ahead as normal in the evenings.

Redbridge Cycling Centre is different to other training venues in that it has a contract with LOCOG in that it states it is not closed exclusively and can open to the public outside of times agreed with LOCOG. Of the 25 games time training venues RCC is the only one that has been allowed to be open to the public in the evenings.

Unless otherwise stated the mountain bike track is available when there are road circuit bookings.

• Lee Valley Youth Cycling Club (LVYCC) meet every Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 except when racing is booked. The full road circuit is booked out to LVYCC at this time.
