• Centre Members may book courts 15 days* in advance but must pay at least two days before the booked date to confirm.
• Unpaid courts will be released at 6.30pm, two days prior to the booking.
• Non-members may book courts two days in advance but must pay at the time of booking.
• Courts are available from Monday to Friday, 5.30pm to 10.30pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 9pm.
• Courts cancelled with less than two days notice will be offered for a re-booking (only if they are re-let will a credit be given).

Booking system for racquet sports

Below are details of how to book Racquet Sports at Wanstead Leisure Centre. Members Members' bookings can be taken 15 days in advance. Courts will be held for 13 days during which time you will be required to call in at the Centre or telephone with credit card details to pay for the court. At 6.30pm two days in advance of play, any court that has not been paid for will be cancelled. At this stage, members may still telephone for available courts, but payment is required at the time of booking Non-Members Non-members may telephone for bookings up to two days before play, but must pay by credit/debit card to secure the booking at the time of telephoning. Booking Times (for bookings 15 days in advance) Monday-Friday 8.45pm Saturday/Sunday 10.00am Non-members fees, spectator's fees and hire fees will be taken at the time of play. Members will be requested to produce their membership cards on each visit or pay a visitor's fee. During term time badminton and squash courts are only available during the week from 5.30pm. During school holidays courts may be available from 4pm. The following are notes for members' information to clarify the booking regulations aimed at providing a fair distribution of courts: 1. Bookings can only be accepted as described and at the times shown. 2. Only one booking per person per day is permitted. This ruling may be waived if bookings are not excessive, e.g. public holidays, off peak times, cancellations and same night bookings. Cancellations Refunds are not issued for paid court bookings. If 48 hours notice is given a credit will be raised for a future court booking. If making a cancellation within 48 hours of booking, a credit will only be given if the court is re-let
